General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

1. Scope of Application

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services and sales provided by Bottega Veloce, in particular the sale of bicycles and bicycle parts, as well as repair and maintenance services. By placing an order or making a purchase, the customer accepts these terms and conditions.

2. Offers and Prices

All offers are subject to change. We reserve the right to adjust prices, correct errors, and sell items to other customers. All prices are quoted in euros and include taxes (small business exemption; no VAT is shown in accordance with Section 6(1)(27) of the Austrian Value-Added Tax Act (UStG)).

3. Sale of Bicycles

Used or restored bicycles are sold “as is.” Slight signs of wear or age-related characteristics in vintage bicycles do not constitute a defect. A warranty applies only if expressly agreed upon in writing.

4. Repairs and Service

Repairs are carried out to the best of our knowledge and with due care. Any cost estimates are non-binding. The customer will be informed in advance of any significant changes. No liability is assumed for damage caused by the customer’s own negligence or for third-party parts.

5. Payment

Payment is due immediately upon pickup or completion, in cash or via the agreed-upon payment method. Retention of title: The goods remain the property of Bottega Veloce until full payment has been made.

6. Warranty

The statutory warranty provisions apply. For used goods, the warranty period is limited to 12 months, to the extent permitted by law. No warranty applies in the event of improper use.

7. Liability

Bottega Veloce is liable only for damages resulting from gross negligence or willful misconduct. No liability is assumed for consequential damages, particularly in the case of athletic use or modifications made by third parties.

8. Data Protection

Personal data is processed exclusively for the purpose of conducting business. For details, see the Privacy Policy.

9. Jurisdiction

Austrian law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Vienna.
